Responding to familiar language, following one- and two-step directions and participating in everyday routines.
Developing co-regulation strategies, coping with transitions and communicating when support or a break is needed.
Recognising useful words, signs, symbols, numbers and concepts that help the child participate in routines and everyday activities.
Building independence with transitions, packing away, dressing, organising belongings and completing age-appropriate daily tasks.
